Global Climate Partnership Award Winners
Since 2018, we have hosted an annual award program that is intended to recognize your excellent ideas, initiatives, and achievements on your journey to implementing climate positive solutions in your local market. The award is conferred by an independent jury and typically comes with a financial prize as well as other benefits such as one-to-one coaching and advisory support.
2023 – Mutual Trust Bank ltd.
Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. (MTB), a private commercial bank in Bangladesh, was selected as the 2023 Global Climate Partnership Award winner.
2022 – Promerica Costa Rica
Promerica Costa Rica – a mid-size commercial bank and GCPF Partner since 2015 – has won the 2021/2022 Global Climate Partnership Award for their role in boosting the adoption of electric vehicles in the market through financing.
2020 / 2021 – Lolc Cambodia
The microfinance institution, Lolc Camobdia Won the GCPF Award 2020/2021, two years after first partnering with GCPF
2019 – Pan Asia Bank
Sri Lanka’s fastest-growing bank, Pan Asia Bank, was rewarded with the prestigious ‘Global Climate Partnership Award’
2018 – The City Bank Limited (CBL)
In 2018, GCPF has celebrated the first Global Climate Partnership award winner. The competition was open to all GCPF partner FIs to submit their story on how they have incrementally advanced their green lending efforts.
